PREMIUM MALATYA APRICOTS
Sun-Dried, Sweet, and Juicy from the World Capital of Apricots
The Gold of Mesopotamia
Turkey supplies over 85% of the world’s dried apricots, and the very best come from a single city: Malatya. Irrigated by the Euphrates River and dried under the intense Anatolian sun, Elibeti Apricots are famous for their unmatched sweetness, velvety texture, and rich aroma. We bring this geographical treasure directly to global food manufacturers and wholesalers.
Malatya: The Apricot Capital
Our apricots carry the Geographical Indication (GI) of Malatya. The unique microclimate of the region—cold winters and hot, dry summers—allows the fruit to develop high sugar levels (Brix) naturally without additives. Harvested in July, every apricot is a product of traditional farming combined with modern processing.
Sulphured vs. Natural
We offer two distinct types: Sulphured Apricots are treated with SO2 during drying to preserve their vibrant orange color and extend shelf life. Natural Apricots (Gün Kurusu) are sun-dried without sulphur, resulting in a dark brown color and a more intense, caramel-like sweetness.
Diced & Paste
Perfect for cereals, granola bars, and bakery items. We supply Diced Apricots (rice flour coated to prevent sticking) in various sizes (3-5mm / 5-8mm / 8-10mm) and smooth Apricot Paste for confectioneries. Our industrial products are laser-sorted and X-ray scanned for maximum purity.

Comprehensive Guide to Wholesale Turkish Dried Apricots
Why Malatya Apricots Are the Global Benchmark
When it comes to dried apricots, one name stands above all others: Malatya. This province in Eastern Turkey is responsible for supplying the vast majority of the world’s demand. The secret lies in the *terroir*; the mineral-rich soil and the significant temperature difference between day and night create the perfect conditions for the “Hacıhaliloğlu” apricot variety.
A Nutrient-Dense Superfood
Dried apricots are a powerhouse of nutrition. They are high in Fiber, which aids digestion, and packed with Potassium, which is essential for heart health. They are also a great source of Vitamin A and antioxidants.
